Decorations, Desserts, and Damsels

This past weekend (Friday, the 13th to be exact), I threw Sarah a little lingerie shower for her friends here in Searcy.  Me being the uncreative person that I am, managed to make a few decorations and desserts for the party.  

So I tried out this sugar cookie recipe that I found online.  Turned out to be fabulous and easy.

I had to improvise with the cookie cutter a little.  I made some cowgirl boots since Sarah likes boots so much.

Saw this sign online, and thought, "Hey, I can make that."  So I did.

Decorating the cookies was the best part!  This is my kind of art. ;)

Aren't they cute?  Also, in a previous blog i mentioned that Sarah made these chocolate chip cookie covered oroes before.  She found the recipe on pinterest.  Well, they're so good that I made them for the shower too. Except these are peanut butter cream oreos. yummm

And the party started.  The girls had to impress Sarah with their toilet paper wedding dresses.  Unfortunately, they weren't very conducive to walking.

Next was the powdered donut challenge.

So, the party's over.  Actually it's been over for a day now.  However, there's toilet paper all over the floor still.  Why?  You ask.  One word: DENVER!
